It has been a long-held ambition to form our own school band; now after some generous funding and hard work, we have officially founded to WRPS steel band!
Our own set of pans have been ordered from Trinidad and should arrive in November 22.
In the meantime, with the kind loan of Belmont Community School’s kit, and some expert coaching from Durham Music Service, we are up and running with our steel band club every Friday night.
