Class 3 had a fantastic day visiting the historic heart of Durham City – the Cathedral. After learning about the life and work of St Cuthbert, the children were so excited to demonstrate their learning by acting in role and sharing stories. The visit also included a time for reflection at St Cuthbert’s shrine where the children read prayers and gave thanks for the special life to whom the Cathedral is dedicated.
School very kindly paid for each child to add a brick to the Lego Cathedral model too. It was amazing to contribute to such a huge creation.
