We are delighted to be able to take our pupils to elite sporting events across the coming year, enhancing pupils’ personal development and raising the profile of sport. We have an exciting calendar of opportunities planned that will see us attending sport events all over the northeast.
So far, we’ve had a VIP box experience at the Stadium of Light to watch the Sunderland v QPR match in August, courtesy of our friends at The Foundation of Light.
We followed that with a superb trip to Whitley Bay to see Whitley Warriors take on Deeside Dragons in a fast-paced and feisty ice hockey match.
Watch out for more plans in spring and summer including rugby, cricket, basketball and athletics.
